Is it just me or does Senator Barbara Boxer seem completely stupid.

You owe it to yourself to watch this video. The good stuff starts at about the 1:35 mark. Sen. Boxer is so out of touch with reality, she basically completely embarrasses herself as she tries to communicate with the CEO of the Black Chamber of Commerce. Her verbal exchange was basically this in a nutshell:

"Hello sir. I have here 2 quotes from random black people. One is from the guy that served me coffee at Starbucks this morning. He asked me to confirm my Venti Mochachino. The other is a quote from the homeless man outside of the Staples Center. His sign said, "please help."'

Is she serious? Is this what California elects to represent them? Wake up moderates! She happens to be talking to a gentleman that is a veteran of our armed forces, an accomplished businessman and fervid patriot. Associating race in regard to this discussion on energy is beyond awkward. It's illogical. Senator Boxer may not be racist or prejudiced, but she certainly sounded an awful lot like someone who is exactly that. Our entire Government needs to be stripped clean and rebuilt from the ground up.
