Seriously, I have barely heard anything about this comment. If someone right of left had said this it would be on the front page of the NYT. I thought Dan Rather had buried his career completely, but now, well now, I'm sure of it. What idiot would say something like this? I know most liberal news outlets, if they even cover it, will say it wasn't racially motivated, but 90% of KKK members wouldn't even say something this insulting.
